~ It tears through your flesh once again which is causing unnecessary trauma & scarring
~ Loud & can get stuck during the piercing process
This is the standard gun you'd usually see if you went to other places such as - Claire's Accessories & other jewellers.
As you can see from these pictures there is a lot of trauma, swelling & where this persons ear has shattered.
This is still classed as a gun! I have seen Studio's in the past that say this cartage isn't a gun... It is. The cartridge jut places on top of the actual gun it's self even though some places just use the cartridge on it's own it is still classed as a gun & blunt force trauma causing the same problems.
This is what they look like on there own. They shouldn't be used on any part of the body.
These are also a big no no... I have seen these being sold online & different clothing brand stores / online shops. Stay away from these also. I know they look sterile but I can't stress enough that they aren't safe! No matter what they say online.
As you can see here this it typically the type of jewellery that is used when piercing with guns. Avoid! They are mystery metals & will cause problems during the healing process.
As you can see here, this persons ear has been done incorrectly with a gun & wrong fitting jewellery. When ill fitting jewellery is used it doesn't have the room for swelling which can cause it to sink into the ear, making it uncomfortable, painful & cause infection.

You will always get some swelling when it comes to healing piercings but when done by a professional you will have the correct jewellery & the correct room for it to swell so it doesn't sink into your ear & doesn't cause any discomfort.
